Individual psychotherapy and music psychotherapy sessions are $250 for a 45-minute session. EMDR therapy sessions are $290 for a 55-minute session.

I work with insurance as an out-of-network provider. While I am not directly contracted with your insurance company, I provide a superbill (similar to an invoice) that you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement. I work with clients who have PPO or POS plans through major providers, including Aetna, Cigna, United Healthcare, and Blue Cross Blue Shield. These plans often include out-of-network mental health benefits that people aren't always aware of.

Insurance-based therapy requires that treatment meet criteria for medical necessity, meaning sessions must focus on reducing symptoms associated with a mental health diagnosis. While this model can increase access to care, it can also limit therapy to a problem-focused, short-term framework. Some clients find that this approach does not fully support deeper relational healing, identity exploration, or preventative care. These are areas that are often central to long-term well-being. Working outside of insurance allows for more flexibility, privacy, and individualized treatment.

I offer private-pay therapy so our work can remain flexible, depth-oriented, and guided by your needs, rather than insurance requirements. This means we can move at your pace and focus on what feels most meaningful to you.

Clients with out-of-network benefits typically receive 40% to 100% reimbursement for sessions after their deductible has been met (if applicable).

Option 1: I handle the claims for you

Through Thrizer, I submit claims directly to your insurance after each session. Your reimbursement goes straight to your bank account, typically within 2 to 4 weeks for a small fee between $2-$2.50. No paperwork on your end.

Thrizer's copay-only option lets you pay just your estimated copay at each session (plus a $10 to $12 fee), and they handle everything behind the scenes.

Option 2: You submit claims yourself
I'll provide a monthly superbill you can submit to your insurance directly.

Absolutely! I understand therapy is an investment, and I offer a 15-20 minute consultation call so we can discuss what you are looking for in therapy to see if we’re a good fit to work together.

I typically meet with clients on a weekly or biweekly basis. Consistency is one of the most important factors in making therapy feel meaningful and effective.

Weekly sessions are especially helpful when we're just getting started, as they help build momentum and allow you to notice progress more quickly.

Therapy time is reserved specifically for each client, as a result, I have a 48-hour cancellation and rescheduling policy so that I can offer the time to another client if the slot opens up.

If you request a reschedule within 48-hours, I will do my best to find another time for us within the same week. If that isn’t possible and the session is canceled, the full session fee will apply.
