Grief & Loss

Grief touches every part of life in your emotions, your routines, your sense of self, and the way you relate to others. Whether you’re grieving a loved one, a relationship, a miscarriage, a homeland, or a future you imagined, loss can stir deep questions about identity, belonging, and what it means to move forward. Many Asian-Americans, AAPI folks, immigrants, and international students also carry layers of unspoken grief tied to family expectations, cultural silence around loss, or the pressure to keep functioning while hurting.

Therapy offers a place where your grief doesn’t need to be minimized, rushed, or hidden. We’ll explore what your loss means to you, understand how it shows up in your body and daily life, and build ways to cope without pushing yourself past your limits.

Grief isn’t something you get over, with time and support, it becomes something you learn to move through, especially when you’re not carrying it alone.
